Five British nationals have been killed in a bus crash in Ecuador in South America. The bus which was on a tour organised by VentureCo crashed into another vehicle yesterday evening while travelling near Jipijapa, between Quito and Puerto Lopez. The company which specializes in trips for gap year students aged between 17 and 20 have said the remaining passengers will be transported to Quito by air. According to the Foreign Office 12 others were also injured in the crash which occurred at 18:00 local time on Saturday. The deceased have been named as Rebecca Logie, Indira Swann, Sarah Howard, Elizabeth Pincock and Emily Sadler.
