Sky News stopped its interactive Live coverage of the Olympic torch relay less than an hour into the 14 km route. The only way to watch to proceedings were via the internet through CNN.com Live or via other streaming services. However even the feed to CNN’s internet service ended when aptndirect.com cut the transmission at 19:26 GMT. The torch has met little of the trouble seen in London, Paris and San Francisco and one witness to the procession has described a party atmosphere with confetti being thrown and much clapping and celebration.
