Perhaps in a cynical attempt to get viewers a British television channel is showing the fictional and controversial docudrama Death of a President. Airing on the satellite channel More4, the film depicts the assassination of U.S. President George W. Bush on 19th October 2007, in Chicago. When originally released it was criticised for being exploitative. At the time, although not having seen it herself, US Senator Hillary Clinton said "I think it's despicable. I think it's absolutely outrageous. That anyone would even attempt to profit on such a horrible scenario makes me sick".
