Myanmar death toll rises above 4000


More than 4,000 people have died in the deadly cyclone that hit Myanmar according to state media. An additional 3,000 people are said to be missing and there arefears the death toll may rise into the tens of thousands. Cyclone Nargis hit the region on Saturday packing winds in excess of 200 km/h. The UN is convening to decide its response and the Myanmar government has sent out a rare appeal for help following the disaster [CNN / BBC / Sky News].

    I think the Bush family should not comment on anyone else's handling of situations when they can't even get a handle on the situation in the u.s. which wouldn't even have a problem if bush could have controlled his need for a personal vendetta.
