Chile - volcano forces mass evacuation


Another natural disaster is causing concern, this time in Chile where authorities have ordered a mass evacuation after a volcano erupted in the south of the country. Already thousands had been evacuated from the town of Chaiten after Saturday’s eruption [CNN]. But late Tuesday there were increased eruptions and reports of lava flowing from the volcano [Sky News] Chile is one of the most volcanic regions in the world with more than 100 active volcanoes, 20 of which are said to be high risk BBC].
