Eight people have been killed and more than 50 wounded in an explosion in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz. According to Iran‘s Fars News Agency the blast occurred in a mosque in the city either during or after evening prayers. "During the speech of a cleric in the Shohada mosque in Shiraz city, a bomb blast killed several people," an unnamed witness was reported to have told Fars. At least three of the wounded were seriously hurt according to reports. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast [Sky News / BBC / PressTV Iran].
