Abu Musab al-Zarqawi killed in US strike


Abu Musab al-Zarqawi has been killed in an airstrike near Baquba. US officials have identified the body from tattoos and fingerprints. The strike which occurred some twenty hours ago [17:00 GMT] also killed a number of other individuals. Maj General Bill Caldwell, a coalition spokesman, said the airstrike was one of 17 similar operations in and around Baghdad.
