The death toll in Indonesia’s earthquake has risen to more than 3000. The tremors with hit the Yogyakarta area of Java at around 6 a.m local time, were measured at 6.2 on the richter scale. It is the latest in a series of catastrophes to hit the islands. Meanwhile the Merapi volcano remains a high risk for those nearby.
